Why ReScore exists
About ReScore
ReScore brings overlooked short films, silent-era classics, and public-domain footage back into view through original live music. For each event, a musician or band writes a new score and performs it against the film for one night only.
A singular night
We stage screenings in warehouses, rooftops, parking garages, and other spaces that make the film feel newly discovered. Each pairing of image, artist, and room happens once; there is no touring production or repeat performance.
Art beyond the screen
Commissioned, numbered posters give every show a visual identity. Selected live scores may also become limited vinyl or digital releases, preserving an artifact without pretending the original night can be recreated.
Who it is for
ReScore is for film buffs, record collectors, adventurous listeners, local music supporters, and anyone who wants a night out that cannot be repeated on demand.
